Andy is a Partner in the Commercial Team. 

Andy is a commercial lawyer with over 30 years’ experience advising technology businesses, including software and apps vendors, semiconductor designers, e-commerce platforms and other IP rich businesses on licensing, development and services agreements. He also advises luxury goods manufacturers and retailers on channel to market, export and supply chain agreements, as well as sports businesses on sponsorship, licensing and event agreements.

He is acknowledged as a leading individual in the technology field by both the Legal 500 and the Chambers Guide.

Relevant experience

  • Business systems and consultancy provider: Providing support on a range of contracts for an established business systems and consultancy provider focusing on the financial services industry, drafting and negotiating Master Services Agreements with leading financial services companies across the UK and mainland Europe.
  • Teleperformance (one of Europe’s leading multi-channel and call centre providers): Advising the client in relation to its role as prime contractor to a government department, supporting the in-house legal team in the roll out of substantial sub-contracts for a range of technology and other services.
  • Ryder Cup: Advising the client in the negotiation of the venue agreement with Gleneagles Hotel and arrangements with the Scottish Government for the staging of the 2014 Ryder Cup matches.
  • Advising leading classic car online auction platform Collecting Cars on market launch and scaling. Assisting on all aspects of the online platform including terms and conditions of use and data protection, as well as international launches in Australia and other major territories.
