Ashfords LLP appointed to legal services framework for CHIC (Central Housing Investment Consortium)

Ashfords LLP has been successfully appointed to the legal services framework for Central Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) following a competitive tendering exercise managed by specialist legal consultants, Kennedy Cater. CHIC is a consortium of Registered Providers and currently has around 90 members. Advising social housing providers is a core strength of the Ashfords team.

Ashfords has been appointed to two lots covering Corporate, Governance & Finance and Property & Development. Ashfords will offer a broad range of services and advice under these lots including banking, financing, acquisitions and disposals, stock transfers, employment advice, development agreements, development funding, and statutory agreements. The contract will commence on the 1st July 2020 and will run for a term of four years.

The tender process was led by Partner and Head of our Housing Communities and Regeneration team, Paul Butterworth, who will be the Client Relationship Partner for CHIC.
