Ashfords LLP’s real estate team has advised Wichelstowe LLP, one of the largest local authority joint ventures in the country, on the acquisition of further land to the south of Swindon for the provision of almost 500 new homes.
This next phase of development will complement the first phase of development which is now substantially built out and sold, and on which Ashfords also acted. The wider scheme has the potential to deliver up to 3000 homes across a 250 hectare site along with the delivery or new schools and community facilities as well as extensive open spaces, nature conservation areas, playing pitches and allotments.
