Ashfords LLP recently advised restaurateur and designer Juan Santa Cruz on orchestrating the investment behind new restaurant project Casa Cruz. This is the first restaurant that Santa Cruz has opened in London following a string of successful projects based in Buenos Aires.
Santa Cruz, has restored and designed the site himself, and included the Santa Cruz Co.'s trademark design stamp, a large copper door and an oval copper bar in the centre of the room. The restaurant aims to cater for all experiences and exploit an unsatisfied demand at the top end of the market.
The restaurant, located on Clarendon Road, opened to the public this month and features a largely European based menu that will include influences from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay as well as New York and Switzerland. Popular dishes include the wild sea bass crudo, Charcoal grilled monkfish and lemon polenta cake. The restaurant features a heated roof terrace and a dedicated second bar which offers a number of classic cocktails as well as Latin inspired drinks alongside an expansive wine list featuring organic and biodynamic bottles.
