The Arabella Group - Professional Networking for Women (March 2018)

08.03.18

On Monday 5 March, the inaugural gathering for The Arabella Group took place at Ashfords' Bristol office, attracting over 40 women from across the South West.

The event, led by Ashfords' Suzie Miles had a strong turn out with guest speakers Peaches Golding OBE, Bristol’s Lord- Lieutenant and Caroline Arnold, a career coach for women in business.

Peaches Golding OBE, discussed how women access power and find their purpose. Peaches said, “I personally don’t think there is a glass ceiling. I think there is a glass mentality. My advice would be to find and identify your purpose. My purpose is to help achieve a more just and equal society. When I work in that area I am most powerful”.

Caroline Arnold shared her top tips on what to do before, during and after a networking event. Caroline recently published "Get Confident and Accelerate Your Career” which aims to help people get the most out of a networking event.

Both talks were extremely informative discussing current engaging topics inspiring a fantastic reaction from the audience.
