NEW PARTNER APPOINTMENTS AT ASHFORDS LLP

Leading law firm Ashfords LLP is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Butterworth as a Partner in the firm's Real Estate team. Paul joins the firm on 17 September.

Previously a Senior Partner in Property at TLT, Paul was Head of Social Housing and Joint Head of the Housing Sector and focused on major development projects, including some of the most significant housing schemes in London and the South East.  He was central in developing a nationally ranked social housing practice and has particular expertise in regeneration, along with extensive knowledge of legal and other issues affecting the sector. Paul is a CIH South West Board member and his work in housing spans nearly 30 years, including heading up teams at a local authority and a housing association.

Ashfords LLP has enjoyed considerable growth in recent years and the Bristol office has seen the arrival of a number of senior experts over the last 12 months including four high-profile Partners with Kate Topp joining the Real Estate team from Osborne Clarke, Nicola Manclark joining the Corporate Tax team from Burges Salmon, Andy Braithwaite joining from Thrings as Head of the Commercial team and most recently, Neel Mehta joining the Construction and Infrastructure team from TLT.
