Ashfords LLP has again been ranked as one of the leading law firms in the South West in this year's Legal 500, being described as 'excellent [and] always on top of its cases'.
The Legal 500 independently reviews the practices of more than 1,000 UK law firms, teams and individuals and the work that they have undertaken over the last 12 months, through interviews with clients and competitors.
Ashfords has received top tier rankings in seven practice areas: Bloodstock, Commercial Litigation, Commercial Property, Corporate and Commercial, Employment, Project Finance and PFI and Shipping. The firm has also newly received top tier ranking for Crime: Fraud (South West).
Ashfords also received a first time ranking for Energy and Waste. The ranking for the Energy and Waste Team, which is led by Partner Ruth Murray, reflects the firm's continued growth in expertise and commitment to the Energy and Waste sector.
The research has also recommended 49 lawyers from Ashfords for their expertise in specific practice areas, and ranked the following Partners at the firm as 'Leading Individuals';
- David Pomeroy (Insolvency & Corporate Recovery);
- Victoria Bonnet (Social Housing); and
- Rory Mac Neice (Bloodstock).
