Ashfords LLP Appointed to new CCS Wider Public Sector Legal Services Panel

Ashfords LLP has been successfully appointed to the Crown Commercial Service's (CCS) panel of legal advisers to the wider public sector following a competitive tendering exercise.   

Ashfords has been appointed to deliver a full range of legal services to public sector bodies, including local authorities, registered providers, NHS Trusts and charities throughout England and Wales.  Legal services include corporate, commercial, IT and telecommunications, intellectual property and GDPR, procurement, employment, litigation, real estate, planning, projects and infrastructure, health and safety, licensing and charities law.

Ashfords was also successful in being appointed to provide real estate and construction law advice throughout the UK, and is delighted to be partnering with Lindsays (Solicitors in Scotland), A&L Goodbody and Cleaver Fulton Rankin Ltd (Solicitors in Northern Ireland) to deliver a full service to wider public bodies in these areas.

The contract will initially run for three years with an option to extend the panel for a further 12 months.  The tender process was led by Partner and Head of Public Sector, Elizabeth Gibson, on behalf of the Public Sector Team.  The Public Sector Team currently advises a number of local and national government organisations and its appointment to the CCS Panel recognises its strong offering to the wider the public sector.
