Ashfords' Arabella Networking Event

On Wednesday 22 November 2017, Ashfords' Arabella Networking Event took place at the firm's Exeter office.

The Arabella Group joins together business women from all professions for the opportunity to network and listen to an informative and engaging talk from a guest speaker, followed by refreshments.

The guest speaker for November's event was Professor Wendy Purcell, a Non-Executive Board Member with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. As a member of the Cabinet Office Talent Advisory Group, Wendy has delivered numerous sessions on 'How to be an inspirational manager' and 'Diversity: inclusive leadership skills and awareness'.

Professor Purcell's talk explored leadership and governance models that support resilience and agility in times of disruption with a focus on driving sustainable organisations.

Guests from a number of businesses attended the talk followed by the opportunity to network with the other attendees. Over 60 people attended the talk from businesses including; Francis Clark, Jelf Group plc, Big Wow Interiors, Heaton Financial, Riverford, Pennon Group plc and In Good Company.
