The Exeter Cycling Charter - Are you in?

16.11.16

In October 2016 the Exeter Cycling Campaign launched a new initiative promoting safety for all on the road, good cycle paths and alternative means of transport to free up road space.

Ashfords is delighted to support the Exeter Cycling Charter. The aim of the Charter is to build a better city for us to live in and to help spread the message that cycling is not only good for business, but also our health and the economy.

The Charter also has the support of the Devon and Cornwall Police, Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, the Police & Crime Commissioner, Devon County Council, Exeter City Council as well as many other local organisations and businesses.

Exeter is a great place to cycle. You can easily get around the city whether commuting or for leisure. There are great options such as the Exe Estuary Trail and the Exeter Canal cycle route with fantastic views along the river exe to enjoy. See http://www.visitexeter.com/things-to-do/activities/cycling-in-exeter. You don’t even have to own a bike as bike hire is easily available in the city.
