New Recruits for Ashfords LLP's Real Estate & Infrastructure Team

Leading law firm Ashfords LLP has welcomed a number of key hires to the firm''s nationally recognised Real Estate and Infrastructure Team that currently includes 37 Partners and 128 fee earners across the firm''s six offices located across the country.

Commercial Property lawyer Michael Gay has joined the firm from Foot Anstey as a Partner in the Taunton office. Michael specialises in commercial property transactions with a particular emphasis on residential and commercial development acting for landowners, developers and registered providers.

Michael Gay commented on his appointment to the firm: "I am delighted to have joined Ashfords and look forward to working with an enthusiastic and talented team of lawyers."

Ashfords is also delighted to welcome Commercial Property Partner David Ellis who joins the firm''s Plymouth office having previously worked at Foot Anstey. David deals with a wide range of property transactions and development, and advises on site assembly, together with promotion, option and joint venture agreements.

Planning lawyer David Richardson has also joined the firm from Michelmores as a Partner in the Taunton office. David specialises in planning, compulsory purchase and public law, and advises private sector developers, landowners, government bodies and public authorities in relation to regeneration schemes, residential and commercial development.

Construction Partner, Jessica Taylor, has joined Ashfords as a Partner in the Construction Team in London having previously worked at Clarke Willmott. Jessica has over 20 years'' experience in advising on construction and engineering law and advises on a wide range of projects involving the drafting and negotiating of the construction and professional team contracts for major strategic and operational commercial, housing, regeneration and infrastructure projects..
