Rachel is a Solicitor in the Marine and Transport Team and advises on both non-contentious and contentious issues, primarily in the national and international yachting sector. Her work includes advising yacht insurers and owners in respect of collisions, negligence and contractual claims, advising in relation to the sale and purchase of yachts and increasingly assisting Jonathan Hadley-Piggin in acting for banks in respect of super yacht financing and mortgages and the registration of yachts worldwide.

Rachel previously worked in the marine department at Shoosmiths where she gained experience in national and international yachting. Rachel joined Ashfords in 2009.
