Rebecca is a Partner in Ashfords' Corporate Team and she focuses on Banking transactional work. Rebecca joined Ashfords in May 2008, relocating from the Midlands where she worked for Pinsent Masons LLP and Wright Hassall LLP. Rebecca acts for lenders and borrowers in relation to both syndicated and bilateral financings, including acquisition finance, property finance, invoice discounting, restructurings and refinancings. She has also worked in-house, having completed a secondment with the Corporate and Commercial legal team of an international bank.
Recent experience includes:
- Acting for Centrax Industries Limited in respect of the £50 million refinancing of the Centrax group companies with Lloyds TSB Bank plc, comprising term loan, overdraft, revolving credit and bond facilities;
- Acting for Northamptonshire County Council on its £10m loan to Silverstone Estates Limited;

Acting for HSBC Bank plc in its financing of Kandytoys Limited in respect of the acquisition of a partnership business and subsequent property and development finance;

Advising Lloyds TSB Bank plc on its £3.4m financing of Flybe Limited's Training Academy at Exeter Airport;
- Advising Abbey National plc on the refinancing of Colten Care (2003) Limited;
- Acting for Bennah Limited in respect of its refinancing with C. Hoare & Co;
- Advising Parkeon SAS on the transfer of the business of Systech Systems Limited to Parkeon Transit Limited;
- Acting for a bank on the refinancing of a South West property development company;
- Acting for Abbey National plc on the refinancing of Southern Healthcare (Wessex) Limited;

Acting for Bank of Scotland plc on the acquisition by IQD Frequency Products Limited of the commodity products business of Rakon Europe Limited; and
- The restructuring of the Dartmouth Land group of companies (property, apartments and hotels)
