We advise investors, banks, management teams, corporate and venture backed businesses on a full range of private equity transactions and related work, with some of our deals involving cross-border work. We regularly work alongside private equity and venture capital houses, including Eden Ventures, Notion Capital, NESTA, Tamares Capital, Naxos Capital, Xange Private Equity, YFM Equity Partners, Swarraton Partners and South West Ventures, and are one of the most active legal teams in the South West in terms of deals completed in the early stage funding sector, completing over 50 deals in the 2009/2010 financial year.

- Drafting and negotiating investment agreements and other investment documents;
- Advising on refinancing and restructuring; and
- Advising management teams on management buy outs and associated matters.
Recent work undertaken includes:
- Advising Eden Ventures on its supplemental investment in Blinkbox Entertainment Limited, a video-on-demand service provider;
- Advising Swarraton Partners on its investment in i20 Water Limited, a provider of water pressure management technology;
- Advising YFM on a further financing round for Provision Communication Technologies Limited, a provider of digital and wireless video technology solutions; and
- Advising Kernow Eco-Housing Limited on a number of financing rounds by Finance Cornwall and angel investors.
