Emma is a Solicitor in the Residential Conveyancing Team.
She deals with all aspects of buying and selling property and land. Emma is experienced in dealing with a wide range of conveyancing work for a variety of different clients from first time buyers to private landlords and large estate land owners.
Emma acts for buyers and sellers of all freehold and leasehold residential properties, to include shared ownership, sales of part, plot purchases, unregistered land and Help to Buy matters. She also deals with Deeds of Easement, mortgaging and re-mortgaging property.
Emma was called to the Bar prior to undertaking the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2008.
- Dealing with a number of Shared Ownership properties on a development in Cornwall.
- Purchases using the Help to Buy Scheme for first time buyers, meaning that she has had to explain both the conveyancing process and the Help to Buy requirements to the clients.
- Acting in a number of plot-purchases in which she has to work to tight timescales set by the seller, but also ensure that the clients are happy with the information provided and understand the implications of their property purchase.
