Emma is currently a Paralegal in the Family Department.
She deals with couples who are divorcing or separating and assists with divorce proceedings and the financial matters arising from a relationship breakdown.
Emma assists clients with private children law matters, such as where a child should live and how much time they should spend with the other parent. She also deals with parental responsibility issues and queries in relation to child maintenance.
- Acting for a father in proceedings to enforce a breach of a Child Arrangements Order.
- Acting for a mother in a case where the father did not return the children following a contact visit.
- Representing the wife following a domestic violence incident, where she wished to exclude her husband from the family home.
- Acting for a wife in a defended divorce case.
