Emily is a Solicitor in the Family Team.
She is part of the matrimonial team and specialises in divorce and financial remedy cases, such as separation between spouses, separation agreements, divorce proceedings, financial disputes, including amicable situations whereby orders by agreement are appropriate to also include situations whereby matters may require financial remedy proceedings.
Emily can also assist unmarried couples whether they are contemplating a change to their circumstances by getting married, she is happy to assist in pre and post-marital agreements, or if you are an unmarried couple, then she can also act for unmarried and same-sex couples.
She is able to advise upon living agreements and claims between unmarried couples through The Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act ("TOLATA"). This may also include disputes around the children and advice for potential claims under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.

- Emily enjoys attending at court to maintain her excellent client-solicitor relationship to achieve the best level of service possible. Emily has good local contacts with financial advisers, barrister chambers etc to offer a wide ranging service appropriate for each individual's needs.
- Emily regularly represents husbands and wives in cases of separation and divorce dealing with financial remedy including property, family businesses, pensions and maintenance.
- Emily has acted for primary carers of children obtaining parental responsibility and living with orders for children.
