Dominic is an Associate in the Corporate Team.
He specialises in advising clients on company and corporate law, in relation to mergers and acquisitions, for both share and asset purchases. He has a particular interest in crowdfunding and has worked on over 100 transactions involving the sourcing of crowdfunding.
Prior to Ashfords, Dominic worked at the Press Association in London for 13 years with the final three years in the legal department assisting the in-house lawyers and latterly as Rights Manager, with responsibility for IP and media rights at the London 2012 Olympics.
- Advising numerous companies with regards to their investments, company constitutional matters and share allotments following successfully pitching on one of the UK's most successful crowdfunding websites.
- Assisting the team responsible for advising on and delivering a large-scale merger of two mutual societies and the purchase of a significant insurance entity in the UK.
- Advising on the change-in-control procedures required by the regulator for a significant corporate acquisition and advising on the share purchase agreements for local company transactions.
