Darren specialises in claimant personal injury work, dealing with members of public who have suffered accidents.
Darren is a Partner in Personal Injury and heads the Personal Injury team in the Exeter office. He joined Ashfords' in 1999 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. Darren was made a Partner in 2006.
Prior to Ashfords Darren was a barrister in private practice in Chambers in Exeter from 1996 until 1999, practicing in personal injury, general civil work and some criminal work. He is a member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).
Recent projects include:
- claims involving injuries suffered by professional sportspeople - dealing with claim for injuries and loss of earnings
- claims involving psychiatric injuries suffered as a result of road traffic accidents
- complex loss of earnings claims arising as a result of accidents
- cases involving complex injuries
- cases involving injuries to children
