Stephen has a wealth of experience in dealing with high value and complex personal injury claims.He joined the Firm in 1988 after reading History at Reading University and was made a Partner in 1999.
Recent experience includes:
- Defence of a claim for mesothelioma by former employees of a Higher Education College ;
- Defence of a claim mesothelioma by a number of employees against a large plumbing company ;
- Defence of a claim for significant damages brought by an assault by a fellow employee;
- Acting for a Local Authority in seeking a multi-million pound settlement on behalf of a brain injured child in their care;
- Acting for various government agencies and defending claims for damages for accidents at work, assaults and claims brought under the Occupiers Liability Act; and

Acting as a Deputy under the Court of Protection for a number of clients in receipt of multi-million pound settlements.
Stephen is a accredited mediator, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCI Arb), a member of the Personal Injury Lawyers and an accredited member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Personal Injury Panel.
