Simon is a Partner and Head of the Corporate and Contracts Team and has many years of commercial experience acting on numerous acquisitions and disposals, refinancing, investment raisings of public and privately owned companies and businesses, including hotels, leisure complexes, golf clubs, marinas and theme parks.
Simon is a law graduate of Trinity College Cambridge. He has (in his legal capacity) been director and major shareholder of the renowned golf club, The Addington in south London and conducted the sale of that company by auction through Ashfords extranet.
As well as his transactional work, Simon also advises on contractual issues, including joint venture, shareholder, partnership and LLP members agreements, corporate structures, agency, manufacturing and distribution agreements, franchise agreements, consultancy agreements, outsourcing agreements, standard terms and conditions of supply and purchase and other commercial contracts.
Leisure clients represented by Simon include Flambards (theme park), Addington Golf Club, Dart Marina Investments (Hotel and Marina), Brazz PLC (restaurant chain).
