Mark undertakes a wide range of commercial property work with particular emphasis on development work. Clients include commercial and private developers, investors and local authorities/other public bodies.
Recent Experience:
- Acting for housing association on acquisition of a residential development site including development agreement with vendor (contract value in excess of £7,000,000);
- Acting for local authority in grant of long lease to housing association for development and use as dwellings;
- Advising local authority in acquisition and sub-sale of premises (with consideration for the sub-sale being delivery of services secured by way of legal charge)
- Acting for local authority in grant of agreement for lease conditional on tenant build obligations tied with surrender of tenant's existing premises;
- Acting for charitable trust in estate management issues and landlord and tenant matters;
- Acting for a utilities company on a variety of freehold and leasehold disposals;
- Acting for private developer in set-up of industrial estate including freehold transfers and leases linked with build obligations; and
- Acting for a developer in the acquistion of a large office building for residential development.
