Tony is a Partner in the Commercial Property Team specialising in Planning (public inquiries, development plan work and planning and enforcement appeals) and commercial property (development work, landlord and tenant and business transactions). He acts in planning and property work for various local authorities as well as private and commercial clients. In particular he has dealt with a variety of projects in the leisure sector involving caravan, camping and mobile home parks.
Tony joined Ashfords in 2003, becoming Managing Partner of the Taunton Office a year later. After qualification, Tony worked for local authorities in London and the West Country, before moving back into private practice. He was then a Partner in another West Country practice based in Bath and Bridgwater specialising in commercial property and planning.
Tony has been involved in sport all his life both as a player and an administrator. He played rugby for Bath but now confines active sport to playing golf to a handicap of 7 (occasionally!) and skiing.

- sale of residential park home site - £1.8m;
- acquisition of Site for holiday park extension and advising on successful planning application;
- obtaining planning permission for chalet site extension to holiday park;
- applications for Certificates of Lawfulness for various uses of land including those in the leisure industry;

advising on planning and property aspects of timber lodge development and sale of units; and
- various planning negotiations with local authorities on applications for leisure development including Section 106 Agreements.
