Rhiain is a Partner in the Employment Team. She specialises in advising and working with educational institutions and other public sector employers and local authorities.

Recent experience includes:

• acting on behalf of a college in the defence of unfair dismissal and detriment claim by Trade union representative;
• defeat of sex discrimination (gender re-assignment) claim and securing a £5000 costs award on behalf of a college;
• advice on large-scale restructures and redundancy programmes to several colleges to include collective consultation advice and negotiating with trade unions.
