Stephen is the Head of the Construction Department.  He advises clients from the further and higher education sectors on construction issues both at the outset of construction projects, advising on and preparing contract documentation and also subsequently regarding legal issues and dispute avoidance and resolution both during and after the construction period. Stephen is a member of the Association of Partnering Advisors as well as a registered construction adjudicator.

Recent experience includes:

• advising Contractor on the M & E Contract for a project in relation to the Said Business School, Oxford;
  
• advising a college of further education in relation to contract documentation for construction of a new college campus;
• advising a college of further education on contract documentation for the construction of a major new extension to a city centre campus building over several floors; and
  
• advising a college of further education in relation to recovery of damages arising out of negligent design and installation of a lift.
