Annabel joined Ashfords as an Associate in 1997 and was made partner in 2000. Prior to joining Ashfords, she spent seven years at a large City Law firm where she acted mainly for major retail chains.
Significant projects she has recently undertaken include:
- advising Clyst Holdings Limited on various commercial developments in Devon to include purchase of sites and subsequent sales or lettings of commercial units;
- advising South West of England Regional Development Agency in connection with the development of a marina at Osprey Quay Portland, to be used for the Olympic sailing events in 2012;
- Advising South West of England Regional Development Agency in connection with the transfer of a site at Osprey Quay Portland to Sunseeker International Limited;
- advising Devon and Cornwall Police Authority in connection with various disposals and acquisitions;
- advising Landmark PLC in connection with the acquisition of a lease of a floor of the former Stock Exchange building at Old Broad Street, London, EC3;
- advising West Mercia Police Authority in connection with its wide ranging and varied leasehold interests;
- advising Schluter Systems Limited in connection with various leasehold interests in Leicestershire;
- advising Bennah Limited in connection with its substantial and varied property holdings in Devon;
- advising the Hawkins Trust in connection with its development at Edginswell Park, Torbay and lettings to date to Francis Clark, Kitson Hutchings and Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Trust.
