Tim is a Partner in the Commercial Property Team and is based in our Exeter office. He acts for a number of Care Home operators dealing with acquisition, disposals and their general property matters.
Tim's also acts on residential developments where he acts for a variety of clients including national and regional house-builders, private landowners and housing associations.
Recent experience includes:
- Acting for a number of Care Home operators including portfolio acquisitions, new build and change of use;
- Acting for private landowners granting a Promotion Agreement (incorporating sub pre-emption, option and overage agreements) over 10 acres of strategic land;
- Acting for a national developer in a conditional contract for the purchase of a 90 unit development site in Plymouth;
- Acting for a Housing Association in the acquisition of a mixed use development site;

Acting for a private developer in the purchase of an investment property with significant development potential including detailed overage provisions; and
- Acting for a SIPP in the acquisition of approximately 12 acres of land for commercial development and associated option agreement to procure access. The acquisition structure included the creation of a special purpose vehicle.
Tim is also a member of the Devon and Somerset Law Society and is the Company Secretary of Young Enterprise South West.
Tim Heal continues to enjoy a solid reputation in acting for residential property developers.
