Sarah specialises in personal injury and insurance work, acting for both defendant insurers, commercial and private clients. She has experience of horse riding claims, psychiatric injury claims, serious head injury claims and other issues arising out of accidents both at home and abroad.

Sarah studied at Manchester University then the College of Law, Guildford. She sailed the Atlantic, and then worked for several months as a paralegal in Buenos Aires before returning to do her articles in a large London firm. She qualified in 1992 and remained for a further six years in London, working in Insurance Litigation. There she gained wide litigation experience, working mainly for household name insurers. Her caseload covered personal injury claims, employers' liability and occupational liability claims and substantial multiparty actions. Sarah joined Ashfords in 1998 as an associate.
