He has undertaken a variety of complex work on behalf of a range of clients, mainly in the private sector, and he now undertakes a mix of commercial property transactions with particular expertise in acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, secured lending and business asset sales/purchases. His clients include commercial investors and developers, landlords and tenants, banks and business operators.
Stephen has had eight years post qualification experience and his work mainly focuses on landlord and tenant, sale and purchases of property and businesses where property is the main asset (such as Care Homes, Hotels, Pubs and Shops) and additionally secured lending.
Recent experience includes:
- Acting for the bank and company (jointly) in the refinance of four care homes to a value of more than £6m;
- Acting for the Buyer on the initial purchase of a residential care home and then later refinance;
- Acting in the refinance of a residential care home group;

Acting on the asset sale of nursing home by its managers; and
- Acting for Lloyds TSB Bank in respect of its security over property at Woodbury Park Golf and Country Club.
