Chris is a Partner in the Commercial Property Team, specialising in work for the public sector (in particular, health and education related projects). Chris has hands on experience of practical education issues, having been a Further Education College Governor for 10 years.
Recent experience includes:

Acting on behalf of a college on the disposal of a substantial freehold estate declared surplus;

Advising a college on historic property claims arising from transfers of property to the college on its incorporation, plus securing additional land and rights to maximise the value of the college's estate; and
- Handling the disposal of a city centre college campus site for development, together with overage provision to fund the development of enhanced facilities on its retained campus.
