Peter is a Partner in the Corporate and Contracts Team and has many years commercial experience having acting on numerous acquisitions and disposals of privately owned companies and businesses, including management buy-outs and buy-ins.

Peter is a law graduate of the London School of Economics. Having been General Counsel and a main board director of an international management consultancy, Peter joined Ashfords as a Partner in 2001.

As well as his transactional work, Peter also advises on contractual issues, including joint venture, shareholder, partnership and LLP members agreements, corporate structures, agency, manufacturing and distribution agreements, franchise agreements, consultancy agreements, outsourcing agreements, standard terms and conditions of supply and purchase and other commercial contracts. He acts for one of the country's leading suppliers of energy crops and has a strong following in the health sector, acting for a large number of GP owned companies setting up health access centres and joint venture companies for procurement purposes.

Peter has recently led a team advising a leisure trust on its acquisition of the leisure services operation of a county council and is currently advising on similar projects.
