Chris is an Associate in the Corporate Team, specialising in venture capital, mergers and acquisitions and corporate structure.

Chris worked for a leading barristers chambers in Adelaide, Australia before returning to the UK to join Ashfords. Chris is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Team, specialising in venture capital & private equity, mergers & acquisitions and shareholder matters. Chris works with a wide variety of clients including start-ups, spin-outs, established private companies and investment funds.

Recent projects include:

• Naxos Capital Partners SCA - advising Luxembourg venture capital fund Naxos Capital Partners on its investment in ResponsiveLoad Limited, a clean technology company focusing on reducing carbon emissions in electricity generation;
• Eden Ventures - advising venture capital fund Eden Ventures on its investment in We7 Limited, a music streaming website;
• YFM Venture Finance Limited- advising YFM on a syndicated investment in Atlas Genetics Limited, a company specialising in the development of electrochemical DNA detection;
• Navetas Energy Management Limited - advising Navetas on its investment in Intelligent Sustainable Energy Limited, an Oxford University spin-out company developing smart meter technology;
• Swarraton Partners - advising Swarraton Partners on its investment in P2I Limited, a world leader in liquid repellent nano-coating technology; and
  
• RAA Sprague Gibbons - advising on the sale of RAA Sprague Gibbons, a recruitment and advertising agency, to Thirty Three Limited.
