Ian is a Partner and the Chief Executive of Ashfords LLP. He has been a member of the firms Management Board since 1993. He was overall head of the Firm's Litigation dept until 2006, when he became Chief Executive, and still oversees commercial litigation cases as well as undertaking mediations. Ian had a recent role as Independent Assessor in the Equitable Life Rectification Scheme involving two stage process of mediation and, where needed, a reasoned decision. This involved around 450 cases.
