Ashfords wins recognition for its training scheme in national survey
Introduction
Ashfords performed outstandingly and is a Lex 100 Winner in an amazing eight categories with work-life balance and friendliness gaining particular praise.
The Lex 100 asked trainees and newly-qualified solicitors from 120 firms all over the country to rate their trainee programme receiving over 2,000 completed surveys.
Ashfords was rated in the top 10 nationally for living up to trainees' expectations and for its work-life balance and also scored highly for job satisfaction, friendliness, client contact, vacation schemes, quality of work and stress levels.
Trainees were also asked for more detailed information about their experiences and their firm and responses included "The firm is very supportive"; "I have a greater variety of work than trainees in other local firms"; "deals I am working on are of a high standard – comparable to the work carried out by friends at large London firms" and the best thing about the firm is the "generally positive atmosphere within the firm and friendliness of staff from partners to office juniors"
