Oarsome Ashfords team raise money for Anthony Nolan Trust
Introduction
Ashfords helped raise nearly £7,000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust by taking part in a Dragon Boat racing event at Exeter Quay on Sunday 21 May.
Seven teams braved the torrential rain and wind with the Oarsome Ashfords team becoming the eventual winners. The Anthony Nolan Trust maintains a register of bone marrow transplant donors and conducts pioneering research into improving the effectiveness of bone marrow transplants.
