Ashfords on Track
Friday 25th March 2011
Ashfords' Partner, and sports law expert, Rory Mac Neice, has assisted high profile motorsport client MW Arden to seal deals with two talented young racing drivers for the forthcoming season.
Lewis Williamson, the 2010 McLaren Autosport BRDC award winner, and Toyota Racing Series Champion and Australian Formula Three Championship runner-up, Mitch Evans, will both race for MWArden in the 2011 GP3 Series.
Williamson (21), who finished a strong runner up in the 2010 Formula Renault UK Championship, was crowned British young driver of the year at the Autosport awards in December 2010 - part of his prize was a test in a McLaren F1 car
New Zealander, Evans (16), notched up eight race wins last season in Australian Formula 3, and will make his European racing debut when he joins the team to contest the highly rated GP3 Series.
Rory Mac Neice said: " I am delighted to have assisted MW Arden in signing these two very talented drivers and wish Lewis and Mitch and the team every success for the forthcoming season."
MW Arden Team Manager, Julian Rouse said:
“We are grateful for the pivotal role that Ashfords played in preparing and negotiating contracts for both Lewis and Mitch. Both drivers have a huge amount of talent and application and I have every confidence that both will be regular visitors to the podium this season."
