Ashfords LLP advises on sale of employee assistance programme provider to Peninsula

Leading South West law firm Ashfords LLP acted for the shareholders of employee assistance programme ('EAP') provider Health Assured on its recent sale to employment law and health and safety specialists Peninsula Business Services.
Two of the sellers, Matthew Kelvie and Brandon Collins, remain with the company as directors to drive its planned expansion.
Peter Done, managing director of Peninsula, was attracted to Health Assured as a result of its phenomenal growth in the EAP market over the past couple of years.
Ashfords LLP's corporate lawyers (Peter Fox, partner and Kirill Kruchinin, solicitor) acted for the sellers with assistance from other members of the firm's Taunton office including employment partner Michelle Fox and associate Rathika Chinnadurai.
