Chris Ashford
The name ‘Ashfords’ comes from Chris Ashford.
He was admitted as a solicitor in 1934 and, after service in WWII, from 1946 onwards practiced in Exeter with partner Mr Cocks as Cocks Ashford till merging with the Tiverton firm in 1976.
