Salaries, Benefits and Rewards

Legal Practice Course Funding

Funding is available towards the Legal Practice Course ("LPC") if you have not started the LPC by the time you come to an Assessment Day.

We do not require particular subjects to be studied as electives on the LPC, other than that the electives should be relevant in some way to the work we do.

Salary

Trainees' salaries are extremely competitive within the local marketplace, and are well in excess of the Law Society minimum salary.

Other Benefits

You will have the following benefits as an Ashfords Trainee:

  • An annual holiday entitlement of 20 days in addition to Bank Holidays, together with an additional day for your birthday and an additional day's holiday each year, usually at Christmas;
  • Membership of a Group Personal Pension Plan;
  • Life Assurance;
  • Membership of the onsite gym at Ashfords House, Exeter;
  • Subscription to The Lawyer2Be;
  • Membership of The Junior Lawyers Division; and
  • Other benefits in relation to our active sports and social calendar, including various subsidised events throughout the year.
