Alternatives to Court - Collaborative Law

What is Collaborative Law?

Collaborative Lawyers are specially trained. The process involves both parties instructing a collaboratively trained lawyer each and all meeting together to discuss and agree the arrangements for your family affairs. The process can be used to resolve issues concerning children, finances and/or divorce. The aim of the process is to resolve issues without contested court applications, but in a supportive environment with your legal experts on hand.

Are there any benefits?

There are many benefits. The process is designed to minimise animosity between the parties and help resolve issues in an amicable way.

How much does it cost?

The cost, as with all cases very much depends upon the complexity of your matter. A member of our family team will advise you of the likely costs during your initial meeting.
