Residential Conveyancing

Moving house can be a difficult time. There is a great deal at stake and a lot to do to turn your important house move into a reality. Ashfords' Residential Conveyancing Team strive to make the legal side of the conveyancing process as quick, efficient and stress free as possible. We are fully committed to providing a conveyancing service that is both highly valued and great value.

Work handled includes:
  • Residential property (sale and purchase);
  • New build properties (sale and purchase);
  • Shared ownership properties (sale and purchase);
  • Land (sale and purchase);
  • Buying a property with a partner/family member/friend;
  • Buying to let; and
  • Transfer of equity/remortgage.
Our team

Our team of conveyancing specialists believe that being friendly and approachable is as important as being competent and professional. We are 100% committed to client service and, on your instruction, we will appoint a conveyancer who, together with a small dedicated team, will look after your transaction from beginning to end and are dedicated to providing a pro active, friendly and efficient service.

Transparent fees

At the start of your transaction, we will provide you with a competitive conveyancing fees estimate. You will benefit from knowing the full costs (including fees payable to other parties) to enable you to budget properly for your sale and/or purchase, and you will not be caught out by later hidden charges.

A relationship to suit you

Wherever you are we can act for you, provided that the property is in England or Wales. Because we know that your time is precious we will keep you updated throughout your transaction at key stages so that you are kept up-to-date as your transaction progresses. We will also report to you with any legal papers for signature by post, fax or email as preferred. This modern approach to the process means that you will not have to take time out to visit us during the transaction unless, of course, you wish to.
