Ashfords set to attend International Mergers and Acquisitions Roundtable

Simon Rous, Corporate Partner at leading UK law firm, Ashfords, will be speaking at a roundtable discussion on international mergers and acquisitions at the 2015 AM&AA Summer Conference.

The Conference will be hosted by the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisers (AM&AA), and is set to take place from Tuesday, 7 July until 9 July in Chicago, with approximately 500 private equity investors and dealmakers set to attend.

The International Roundtable will take place on Wednesday, 8 July at 8:00am, Chicago time, and will be an interactive opportunity to discuss global deal making over breakfast.

Topics to be discussed at the breakfast event include; best practices for firms interested in extending their presence internationally, the broad legal differences between international and US based M&A transactions, exploring international markets, and an informative analysis of the financial costs for failing to consider international markets as expansion targets. 

Simon has over 38 years' Corporate experience in the UK, USA, and the Middle East. A published author, he specialises in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions, M&A's, joint ventures, and acts for a wide variety of clients from global groups and public companies, to start-up businesses.
