Ashfords LLP provide regulatory advice to Jeffrey Green Russell Limited and GT Law on administration

Leading law firm Ashfords LLP is providing First Stop Legal Services t/a GT Law Solicitors with regulatory support and advice after filing for administration.

The specialist regulatory team at Ashfords, led by Partner Sam Palmer, has been appointed as Solicitor Manager for GT Law, advising on regulatory responsibilities, and ensuring that clients'' money and interests are protected.

Sam Palmer of Ashfords LLP has also been appointed as Solicitor Manager for London law firm Jeffrey Green Russell Limited on a pre-pack administration. Gordon Dadds, a London law firm, has acquired Jeffrey Green Russell (JGR), becoming a £25 million full-service commercial firm, and taking on a number of senior employees and clients of JGR. The combined firm will be known as "Gordon Dadds incorporating Jeffrey Green Russell."

Sam Palmer commented:

Andrew Hosking and Simon Bonney of Quantuma LLP have been appointed as Joint Administrators for JGR and GT Law. Andrew Hosking, who has been appointed on a number of law firm Administrations, commented on the transactions:
