Introduction

This is a very sad time for the family and friends of the deceased. We understand this and we are sensitive to their needs. We make every effort to ensure that the process is as painless as possible.

The administration of the Spanish Estate of a non-Spanish national can be complicated. The complexity of the case will depend on whether there was a Spanish or English Will. Our team has the knowledge and experience to deal with the administration of the Spanish estate, regardless of the degree of complexity. It is important that we are instructed as soon as possible, so that we can take the necessary steps to commence the legal process. Please note that there are strict time limits within which to pay the inheritance taxes.

As most of our clients do not speak Spanish, they find it difficult and frustrating to make important telephone calls. As such it is not uncommon for us to speak to people such as the Spanish bank manager or the President of the Community Association on behalf of the family.
