Ashfords Act for Arden on Senna Signing
Introduction
Ashfords' involvement in motor sport continues to grow with the firm recently acting for leading GP2 team Arden in the contractual negotiations surrounding Bruno Senna signing for the multi championship winning team to compete in the 2007 GP2 Championship.
Senna is the nephew of three times world champion and motor sport legend Ayrton Senna and finished third in the British Formula 3 Championship last year. The Brazilian will join South African A1GP Star Adrian Zaugg at Arden next year, with both drivers hoping to emulate the success of recent Arden F1 graduates Tonio Luizzi, Heiki Kovalainen, and Robert Doornbos.
Bruno Senna comments:
"I believe that the partnership between me and Arden will only grow throughout the year, so I expect to give the team good results already in 2007 and fight for the title in 2008. Working hard with the team will expand my knowledge and is very important for my career."
Arden comment:

Ashfords' Associate Jamie Horner, who heads up the firm's motor sport practice working alongside Head of Sport and partner Rory Mac Neice, handled the matter with assistance from the firm's commercial and intellectual property teams. Jamie moved to Ashfords from London in 2005 to work alongside Rory in the firm's increasingly successful Sports Team.
