Ashfords passes 50th Partner milestone
Introduction
Another important milestone for Ashfords solicitors has passed this month with the appointment of the law practice's 50th and 51st partners.
Exeter based Carl Steele and commercial property expert Andrew MacMillan Scott have both been promoted.
This brings the firm's total number of staff across the region to 450, including 260 legal experts operating from five offices in Exeter, Plymouth, Tiverton, Taunton and Bristol.
Already the largest law practice in the West Country, expanding solicitors Ashfords have just finished another year with growth close to 20%. The firm has seen year-on-year growth at this level for the last five financial years.
Carl Steele is an expert on a wide variety of both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property issues, and also regularly advises clients on sales, distribution, agency, data protection, advertising and website/IT related issues affecting their businesses.
His knowledge of sports law also provides additional resource to the growing sports law team at Ashfords
Andrew Macmillan Scott undertakes a mix of commercial property transactions but has particular expertise in investment acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant matters. His appointment adds further capability to the largest commercial property team west of Bristol.
