The team advises on all aspects of environmental law and practise, providing support for our commercial property and corporate lawyers and dealing with stand alone environmental issues in respect of both land and the marine environment. We advise upon the need for consents and permits, appeals against refusals or the imposition of conditions and alleged breaches of consents.
Our practice embraces waste and water law, contaminated land, noise, emissions to air, marine and fisheries and nuisance. The team includes solicitors in our litigation, criminal, marine and projects teams and lawyers who have previously worked for the Environment Agency, Natural England and local authorities.
The team uses its experience and expertise to identify issues before they become problems and provides clients with straightforward, practical advice. The team helps clients identify and obtain the necessary consents, licences and authorisations and during corporate transactions, negotiates appropriate workable solutions.
