Private Equity & Venture Capital

The team regularly works alongside Private Equity and Venture Capital houses including, Eden Ventures, YFM Group, Swarraton Partners, Finance Cornwall, Finance South West Growth Fund and South West Ventures and is one of the most active in terms of deals completed in the early stage funding sector, completing 43 deals in 2007.

Ashfords' private equity team advises investors, banks, management teams, corporate and venture backed businesses on a full range of private equity transactions and related work with some of our deals involving cross-border work.

Our experience and client base ensures that we remain at the forefront of issues affecting the private equity industry, allowing us to bring direct, hands-on experience to transactions. Our style is very much pragmatic, no nonsense, solution driven commercial advice.

• Advising YFM Venture Finance on its investment in and refinancing of Dynmark Limited
• Advising Telemedic Systems Limited on an investment by Elision Group Limited
• Advising Kernow Eco-Housing Limited on a second round financing by Finance Cornwall and angel investors
• Advising Action Indoor Sports Stadiums Limited on its first and second round financing by two of the regional VCLFs
