Introduction

Ashfords' Housing Team offers the full range of legal services to an ever-growing client base which, in addition to private landlords includes also includes, housing associations and other social landlords. The team has a reputation of offering sound and practical advice and solutions to clients.

The Team's work is varied. Its experience of dealing with social landlords in addition to the private sector has enabled it to acquire its critical mass in terms of size and to cement its position as a key player in the housing market in the public and private sectors. The Team has, for a great many years, had a strong client base in the private sector. It handles private housing matters for the range of private clients as part of its total client care commitment. Its private clients include trusts and landed estates as well as individuals.

Case Management
The Team has created Case Management packages for rent actions, historic rent arrears actions, and gas safety access injunctions. The Case Management packages are unique. We are not aware of any other firm offering such a range of packages to clients. The fees are calculated on a fixed basis. As a result of the case management systems, costs are kept extremely low and cases are dealt with at maximum efficiently.

Updates, training and seminars
The Team provide training to clients and client organisations, non-clients and other professional service providers. The Team provide regular bulletins that now have a national circulation.
