Motorists Beware!
Introduction
The use of a non-hands free mobile phone is an offence and attracts an endorsement of 3 penalty points (as well as a fine).
Inability to identify the driver of your vehicle when the vehicle is being driven in excess of the speed limit now attracts an endorsement of 6 penalty points.
Acquiring 12 or more penalty points within a 3 year period makes you liable for a disqualification for a minimum period of 12 months.
Driving after consuming too much alcohol will result in a minimum period of disqualification of 12 months (subject to a reduction of up to 25% for completing the drivers rehabilitation course).
